Everything that the pause of student loan payments has provided us, will now be taken away.
THE CULPRIT
PRESIDENT BIDEN
The ONLY reason I even voted for President Biden was because of his “PROMISE” to get rid of student loan debt.
Even though I didn’t want to believe it, a glimpse of me took the bait ANYWAY.
Crazy for me to even think that was possible with student loans repayment being a TRILLION DOLLAR BUSINESS.
There was NO WAY IN THE WORLD that the cancellation of student loans was EVER going to happen.
Some may say, “well you shouldn’t complain, you BORROWED the student loans and used it so you should repay it! That’s how the world works. BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH”
You know what my answer would be to that person?
I WAS FREAKING SEVENTEEN. I DIDN’T KNOW ANY BETTER!
I was a teen when I accepted those student loans. Repaying the student loans was so far removed in my mind because it seemed SO FAR AWAY.
DOOMS DAY(the restart of student loans)
We are ALL cringing at the idea of beginning to give away our money for something the president promised to get rid of.
Everywhere I look, there’s yet another article reminding me of DOOMS DAY (for example)
Student loan payments is now an obsessive and piercing image and thought in my mind EVERYDAY after being an afterthought for the past couple years.
I’ve saved so much money. Enjoyed life by treating myself a little more.
And even better, my child has enjoyed the extra money being saved.
HOWEVER in September, that all comes TO. AN. END.
All because of President Biden’s false promise.
